We are excited to announce the Second Annual “Get Lost…Find Yourself” Adventure & Dualsport Motorcycle campout, taking place September 5-8, 2024 on beautiful northern Vancouver Island. This event is a charity fundraiser for HeadsUpGuys.org.

HeadsUpGuys, a program of the University of British Columbia (UBC), is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and support for Men’s Mental Health.

Our campout promises to be an exciting and memorable experience for all attendees, offering a weekend of camping, riding, and camaraderie with like-minded individuals. Thursday is check-in day, and participants will have the opportunity to set up their campsites and mingle with fellow riders. On Friday, we will begin the day with a delicious pancake breakfast before embarking on an unforgettable day of riding. After exploring the rugged terrain and picturesque vistas of the surrounding area, riders will return to camp for a mouth-watering BBQ burger ( Burger and Caesar Salad ) dinner followed by some bike games. Saturday will again start with a pancake breakfast and is another day of unforgettable rides followed by a delicious Camp Chicken stir fry ( Chicken and Vegetables all fried up and served w/ Ceasar Salad ). Sunday is wrap up day, attendees say goodbye to new friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

Admission is only $100 per attendee.

Welcome to the "Get Lost...Find Yourself" event! This is a unique opportunity for adventure seekers to explore the great outdoors and connect with like-minded individuals. With two nights of camping, delicious meals, a raffle ticket, and a t-shirt, you are sure to have an unforgettable experience.

 

Included with Admission:

• Pancake breakfast on Friday & Saturday

• Chicken Stir Fry on Friday night, burger on Saturday night.

• Three nights of camping

 

Campground:

The campground provides drinkable water, two outhouses, and wifi (at the main building) for attendees. However, please note that the nearest fuel station and store is 30 kms away, so it is advisable to bring all necessary supplies with you.

 

Self-Guided Rides:

There is the option for self-guided rides, and some GPX tracks will be provided to guide you through the area. However, please ride responsibly and at your own risk. All attendees must sign a waiver in order to gain entrance to the campground.

 

Lead Rides:

This year we'll be offering some Lead Rides, ranging from new to intermediate skill levels, both little and big bike friendly. However, please ride responsibly and at your own risk. These are NOT guided rides and participants will be doing so at their own responsibility.All attendees must sign a waiver in order to gain entrance to the campground.

Find Yourself Selfie Challenge:

Don't forget the crowd favourite: Find Yourself Selfie challenge. A ride and seek style track to find the "Find Yourself" plaque and take a selfie with it. Doing so will get you an extra raffle ticket for the prize draws.

New to 2024:

This year we'll be working with Prince of Whales whale watching tours out of Telegraph cove. A private (attendees only, not general public) 3hr cruise in the waters of Northern Vancouver Island aboard a 10-14 passenger open air Zodiac. See whales, bears, seals, otters and other such marine life.

Additional cost of this is $150 and must be paid in full in advance.

Photography and Filming:

Please be aware that there will be cameras and YouTubers on site. If you do not wish to appear in photos or film, please state so on your registration form.

 

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel your attendance, you can receive a full refund up to two weeks prior to the event start date.
