The Get Lost…Find Yourself Foundation (GLFY) 2025 event is now in the books—and once again, it reminded us exactly why this community exists.
This year, GLFY made an honest and intentional effort to step it up. From improved organization and added details, to the overall flow of the weekend and the energy surrounding it, those efforts did not go unnoticed. Attendees felt it. Volunteers felt it. And most importantly, the spirit of what GLFY stands for felt stronger than ever.
As always, riders arrived from all walks of life—some carrying excitement, others carrying weight they don’t often speak about. And just as reliably, they left with spirits high and hearts full. That is the quiet magic of GLFY: shared meals, shared rides, shared laughter, and shared understanding around campfires that don’t require explanations.
This year, however, one interaction stood out in a way that will stay with me forever.
During the weekend, an attendee opened up and shared that he had been deeply struggling with his mental health. He told me that he had planned for that weekend to be his last. He came to GLFY believing he had nothing left—until he experienced the community firsthand. Through conversations, connection, and realizing that he truly wasn’t alone, something shifted.
He saw that help exists.
He felt that support is real.
He realized his story wasn’t over.
Since the event, I’ve stayed in constant contact with him. And I’m incredibly grateful to say that his life has changed for the better. He sought professional help, is now matched with an excellent therapist, and has taken meaningful steps toward healing. He’s even found new joy in his life—including a new relationship that has brought light and hope back into his world.
That change didn’t happen because of one speech or one moment.
It happened because of community.
Because of acceptance.
Because of GLFY.
This is why we do what we do.
GLFY isn’t just about motorcycles or adventure—it’s about creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Where asking for help isn’t weakness. Where showing up can be enough to save a life.
To every attendee, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who helped make GLFY 2025 what it was: thank you. You may never fully know the impact you’ve had—but it is real, and it matters.
Until next time,
Get lost… and find yourself.
